I can't understand but I think my site has got slapped .... see the image below from WMT

blocked.jpg

2yr old domain with 120 posts
I have not done any SEO recently.
Adding 5-10 posts per month .... around 200-300 words with relevant images.
Site is still indexed and showing in search but the ranking dropped like anything ... traffic reduced to almost zero.

Can anyone show some lights into it, please

I can only add my experience from today, my website got fcked off from google as well

I got almost the same image however my site got penelised by a manual review by G since then more than 70% of my keywords dissapeard and impressions curve went down to. And also in my case the website is indexed it is just a matter of time I think that the site will get deleted from the index.

Could be an algorithm penalty, there has been a few threads similar to your's so I would wait a few days to see if anything changes. What type of SEO have you done to your site in the past? any spammy links etc?

Both my sites just got manual actions. CHeck if u got manual actions.

300 words consistently for articles across a website is thin content.

Yeah my review site also got slapped for thin content and my site was ranking #2. Time to create new websites.

I never did any spam backlinks ....I have only 286 backlinks in WMT (mostly PBN)

Did you do your PBN links yourself and was it done properly? Maybe you left a lot of footprint and it got traced.

That site is gone. Your PBN got discovered. You probably used the Chrome browser or Gmail or some other Google tracking tool that let them know you owned the PBN.

It's hard to see the exact date based on that image of when the site was hit, looks like sometime mid last month?

Could be Penguin issues or even thin content penalty, or heck a manual link penalty. Not sure though, first start with WMT and look for a penalty.

@SuperLinks snaip
There is no manual action notice in WMT. The site still indexed and getting 1-5 visitors from search.

I purchased the PBN links from here

Wait, the WMT email and my BHW email is same .... would that be the issue? Should I use different email for BHW?

I don't know but it is the possible that the decrease was because of the PBN links.

Yes your website is most probably slapped for thin content.. However I have seen many tabloids on the web that rank. Very well with 100-300 words of content. The catch here is to publish at least 30-50 articles daily. I know very well that opting for such a venture may actually be expensive, but that's the only way around publishing thin content.
You get what I mean
