I saw its ad in Mashable. Looks like scam to me but Im not sure.

I am not sure what business has to do with backlinks, because many people who runs successful websites (small business) don't even know what backlinks and SEO are.

Business itself doesn't have anything to do with backlinks, but if you're asking if a cheap iphone 4 site is a scam, 0 backlinks should be a red flag. Especially because cheap iphone deals tend to gain a great deal of traffic and backlinks from dealsites, blogs, etc.

Agreed this site doesn't look legit. But what I meant is if someone is new to the business and have started a site, obviously it won't have any backlinks or PR or alexa rank.
