Is it safe to record myself playing xbox and then get ads on the video and then buy thousands of safe views? Is this allowed?

Your best bet to monetize gaming videos is to get partnered with a network like Machinima, TGS or others. Going through them means you do not have to worry about copyright strikes on your content.

So would this be a good idea or no :)? And how do I get partnered with Machinima?

You will not get paid for safe views, even thou they are safe, you will not et paid for them.

My first channel I made is partnered with Machinima and let me tell you, that is not the way to go.
They put a cap on the money you can make to $2CPM and you only get close to $2 per thousand views in the 4th quarter (around christmas time)
They have horrible support and do nothing for you + 2 year contract.
I'm a lot happier with the new company I have they take a percentage off the top.
I will be happy to help you with any questions you have just PM me.

yea its safe only if you have commentary within the video

Does this method actually make any money? Would love to know. Anybody have real experience?

The method makes money if you know how to work it. First, you're going to be spending a lot of time and money breaking into the niche you want to dominate. Usually this would take 6 months to 1 year. If you are a money bags or a smart blackhatter, you can break the ice within 3-5 months decently. How? Start spending some money wiesly on media. Ad buy on YouTube, Google, Facebook for appropriate niche targeted people.

Blackhat = smarter than average person. IT DOES NOT MEAN POOR NOOB THAT NEEDS TO SCAM. Since when has it come to 99% of this forum being filled with brainless unimaginative people? I can think up 5 ways to promote a new channel quickly.
1. Free eBook on a freebie site about youtube seo.
2. Some paid cpm ads targeted towards my niche audience linking to my BEST content.
3. Some paid CPC Ads on YouTube search.
4. A contest and giveaway (repeating every month with big prizes) and submitted to free contests and giveaway sites and rss feeds.
5. Guest blogging from Google Alerts on YouTube related content, THEN PR distribution to sites blogging about YouTube content.
6. Piggyback work for other smaller YouTubers in exchange for links, views, and maybe cooperative commentaries.

I would go into more, but I actually don't want to hold you by the hand and feed you bite for bite how to make the money smartly. Sorry, if I am the only one who is going to work smartly, then I will want 100% of the profits. It's literally like me showing up at McDonalds with a bum, if he can't buy his own food then maybe I'll give him a few scraps. If he wants to eat MY hamburgers and make me work and pay for them, I am going to eat them myself.

I dont really think you understand what I am saying. I am going to record myself playing xbox(Cod,Fifa,NHL ect.) I will upload those videos to YT. I will then buy like 10k views for the videos so they boost up in rankings and I start to get real views because its high up there. I could put ads on the video so I get paid for those 10k views I bought for $5 and I am sure I will make more then $5 back...

No, Buying views is not 'allowed'... but if you're asking if that's safe, yes, it is.

Read the fair use act and then claim the video under that if asked for more info.
