Is this really a Ponzi scheme?

He rely on people not asking for their money, thinking that it grows in the meantime, which is not the case. than OP just have a big "bank" out of their money he can freely use, "until" some ask for their profits.

And yes, this is a classic Ponzi model, how come you got into the details of doing it, know how its called, but don't know that's what your doing?

I rolled off my chair laughing at this

You open a new thread ? Was it worth it ? the only difference is that first you called it a "business" which it could be if we consider a business and a scam the same way (many people do) but it is strange that you have an exact ponzi scheme model and don't see it...

But hey, maybe you could be the next Bernard Madoff like someone previously said, if you get caught, prepare yourself for 120 years of jail. The only good thing about opening this thread is that I see that most people in this forum value some kind of ethic more than money.

Is this a ponzi scheme, this is my idea so start with £600 find a way to get people to pay you £8 everyday like it’s an investment you pay them £20 back from your £600 everyday to each of the 50 people and you flipped £600 to £12k easily in a single month in full profits.
Your going to be in loss..!
You would need to pay back 30000 to those 50 people per month isn't it?
How will you profit 12k?

Is it a ponzi scheme if I have a service, that I get paid $11 everyday but I don’t pay them back I just deliver my service?

No this is called running a business. Your first question is plain Ponzi and it's baffling that you still had to ask - twice.

He will, let's say he really do this, he have 600. And he have to pay 1 person 20-8=12. And he gave 50 people. He must pay 12x50=600 on the first day. That mean bankrupt on the first day. And the second day is - 600

That's not usually how it works, though. More people will invest. And even those that get their payout will always reinvest. People who go for these schemes are naturally greedy and you can count on that greed for two or three rounds guaranteed. After that is when the loses start to come in. Of course some can even last for years or decades a la Bernie Madoff. Anyway Ponzi talk isn't allowed here.

Yes i get that part but it mean you need more capital. As people are greedy than 1 become 10 mean more cost. But he need to pay everyday with the limited capital. For every person in mean he fot bankrupt faster. Fail to pay once mean bankrupt. Oo well the main point op as all has said its ponzi. So just stop opening thread about it.

Back in date when type of this get viral in my country..

MMM

This is exact definition of "ponzi scheme". Can't believe you had to ask tbh.
