So basically i lanuched an website like maybe 10 days ago, I don't really have money for links so i mainly build something free like web 2.0 and have one good link (but my competitors also have that link).

So when i check some keywords (mostly long tail which are not as competitive like others) I rank on somewhere between 10-30 results. Is that good? Does this means progress?

Probably not real progress. How are you checking your rank? Using Google Search Console or some tool, or just searching manually using Google? If the keywords are not competitive, it's likely worthless so it doesn't really matter that you are showing ranking for them.

Google searching yourself is not a good way to check your ranking. Google knows that it is your site (even using incognito/private mode) and they will show your site higher than if a random other person searches it.

Yes, it's progress.

It means that you're in the SERPs within 10 days. Google has begun crawling, indexing and showing your pages in SERPs.

Add your site to GSC, and keep track of the queries and their impressions. Optimize your existing pages, build more links and watch the rankings improve.

In a way it is progress but it is best that you check it with more professional tools, you can also try to improve your positioning through internal and external SEO, pay some people with good reputation sites to link to your website, create internal links on your website and above all be constant, you can also make use of social networks to capture more traffic and in the long term you will see how you will improve your positioning gradually.

-- it's an insane progress, just keep posting and I'm sure you'll start seeing even more keywords and traffic very soo.

Yes, you're making good progress for a site that is just 10 days old.

Congratulations on picking your keywords because a 10-30 ranking for a new site is not too shabby.

I would focus at this point on content volume and just as important, strategic interlinking.

Since you are obviously picking the right keywords, make sure that you interlink your content using those keyword targets, but with calls-to-action.

The key here is to make the content that you're linking to the logical and contextual extension of the content of the page you're linking from.

So far, so good.

Congratulations on your great progress.

Keep it up.
