some rank checker shows 0 and other 5

strange i think its PR 5

its PR5
but not sure whether its fake or not

but it must be real because
domain is 6 years 5 months 2 days old
and its listen in DMOZ

It seems like fake page rank to me. They must have redirected google to a higher PR domain. On typing info:domain.com in google, the site is not showing and this is one of the ways of spotting fake PR.

just type in Google:

Code:

site:kmgcomputers.com

If it's fake another page will show up instead of the legit homepage as the first result. In this case, it's not.

It's legit.

As far as I know, the operator to check fake PR is info:sitedomain.com and not site:sitedomain.com. And when using the former operator the site does not come up, hence it could be fake PR.

As you may see on the archives website ( I cannot post the whole link, just add in the waybackmachine the url) it is just a dropped domain.
People usual acquire those, transform in wordpress blogs and go to webmaster marketplaces with "pr 5 links". Does not worth.

Domain since 2004, it's for sure real
