Is this ok?

Hi all

Being a newbie to website side of life I need some help and suggestions please.

I am in the process of setting up a website its half complete. This month google analytics tells me I have had 127 hits, Bounce Rate of 39.53%, Average Time spent 2.06

Like I mentioned above its not even complete yet and it hasn't been advertised currently it a PR2

I was wondering is this any good considering its not even fully complete yet? And also how can I improve it?

I know I need to do alot of seo work for it which I will read up and try to do next month.

Any help will be appretiated

Like I said I am a newbie. You can do the above with no advertising?

There was me thinking it was quite good lol.

Its a downloads website, nothing illegal and its free downloads.

PR2 is quite nice to start with....

Get the site completed and then begin the work on the marketing/advertising the site.

Don't get the horse before the cart.

If you send someone to your site now they are likely never to return because it is not a finished product for them to see how it will be helpful to them.

Once the site is completed there are many ways to advertise and market your site.

Do your research here on BHW and see how others are doing it.

It isn't easy with all the competition but it can be done!

This was exactly my thought, that I do not want people going to it as they may not return.

I do not have much competition to be honest and the competition I do have my website blows out the water.

I spent alot of money on the design etc. Well I thought it was alot.

The website itself will have alot of content so far ive uploaded something in the region of 150gb

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...... my suggestion.... look into adsense for search and with downloads you've not got show them an embedded search page n earn $$$
