Is this ok, or does it make someone a poser?

Is it ok to wear fashion styles from what you seen in music videos, if you really like it and are not trying to be "cool". Or does it still make someone a poser?

You're only a poser if you're trying to give off the impression that you're someone you're not. If you actually like the style, then go for it.

People can where whatever the heck they want to. I typically judge people by their actions, not their looks.

To me, a poser is someone who says he acts a certain way and doesn't. For example, someone posing as a friend.

Why care so much about what others think?
If you want to wear something just go and wear it.

Clothes do not necessarily make a poser, it is their attitude and personality. If you were to have your entire wardrobe based on what some celeb was wearing, people may just think you are a bit touched in the head.

Im a bit too old to be really giving an opinion but back in the day a poser was someone who jumped from fashion to fashion to just be trendy

ie a goth one month, a steampunk the next etc..ie somene with no identity just a poser.

Nothing wrong with wearing current fashions if thats what your asking.

As long as you're not wearing skinny jeans, thick black rim glasses without lenses/with non-prescription lenses, and a snapback hat, you're all good.

No it doesn't make you look like a poser.

Sometimes it can make you look like an idiot though.

I saw two people the other day in Walmart with white-shirts and black jeans, whose jeans were hanging down almost past their hips. I know they think they looked cool, but from behind they looked like penguins.

No, it just makes you a kid (especially because you're asking for opinion on a forum). Wear what you want.

NOW GO TO WORK! (money's not gonna earn itself)
