Is this normal?

Hope you guys can help me with my question.

So I have a site, just indexed about 5-7hrs ago. Anyways, the competition shouldn't be anything difficult. Frankly if I had the EMD i'd already be top, it's that easy.. The top ranked site (#1) has 5 BLS which means it only has 5 backlinks (according to traffic travis). Anyways, I've bought some social bookmarks, made some web 2.0's having a amr blast soon, and etc. and I believe my onsite seo is quite good. My article has a 2-3% kw density, h1, and all that. Even if it was bad and I was missing something I should still be somewhere within the first 10 pages at least. Unfortunately, this is not the case.

My question :is it normal,even when the competition sucks(badly),for my site to be nowhere to be found (at the start ofc)? Yes everythings indexed. site:~~~~.tld etc..

Thanks for your help guys. And btw half my SERPs competition is like , weeblys and wix sites. Srs, they don't know seo.

Yes, it is normal. If the competition isn't very strong, it could be because those sites have been at the top for a long time so it takes longer to overtake them. Give it a few days before worrying.

Once more of your links are found by Google, you should see it push up towards the top. Do not worry

Thanks guys. Your help is very reassuring. The top sites aren't very daunting. Probably the only reason #1 is #1 is because he's got EMD and some adequate on site seo. Nothing really in the offsite section.

Keep your SEO efforts and its only matter of time when you'll outrank him. But he still would have an edge because of EMD if he decides to counter back your SEO efforts.

Doubt it.. he's using a weebly powered site and his monetization is basically getting referrals to some site of his which is the worst kind.

Give it 3-7 days, if you do not come back, your site is in trouble.

The reason for this would be social bookmarks.

I was one of the first who used them to rank within 24 hours for tough keywords many months ago, and now they are becoming very ineffective.

Words of advice:

Avoid using social bookmarks for links.

High PR Networks like Authority Link Network (ALN).

Or go to Google and search for "CyberRankingz".

If you want super secret tips for ranking and traffic, search for "Stealth Rankz".

This isn't the thread for this, but please don't try to give yourself an ego boost about being one of the first who used them to rank within 24 hours "many months ago". You don't know what anyone else in SEO was doing, when they were doing it. People have been using Social Bookmarks effectively for ranking for 4-5 years at very minimum.

We know what you are doing.
We are watching you...
