I created several web 2.0 properties with links on them to my money site, and my site moved up four spots. However, the sites themselves are not in Google, meaning they won't show up even if you search for the domains. Obviously Google has seen the links, so is this normal? I'm new at the whole web 2.0 link thing by the way, this is the first time I've tried it.

Yep, Google probably found your web 2.0 sites and boosted you up for it.

Or, maybe they found some of your other links.

i'm pretty sure it was the web 2.0 links that cause the boost, because I haven't created any other new links recently and the boost happened very shortly after I created the web 2.0 pages, pinged them, bookmarked them, and submitted them to Google for indexing with the "add url" feature. That's why it's confusing to me that the sites themselves don't show up even when you search for their domains. Maybe it's just that the link finding program and the indexing program are on different schedules.
