Is this normal? Backlink Variation.

Firstly, I check yahoo site explorer and found this amount of link:

Than checked my google webmaster tools.

As you can see there is HUGE difference in the links. Is this a bug or am I getting bombarded by competition? (If I was than why is yahoo showing such low amount :S)?

yahoo and google have their own ways in getting and gathering those information. but I guess i find google more plausible and more precise.

none of these are accurate so don`t judge by them. closest to the reality is yahoo

Both have their own ways to calculate backlinks. But I haven't seen a site having more backlinks in Google than yahoo

Neither have I. It was usually google showed about 40% of yahoos backlink.

But the change in google went from

50 Links > 24,000 Links. In matter of 2-3days.
