Hi everybody, I'm working on a niche with low competition, but whenever I do keyword research I always end up with the same results there's some competitor out there who dominant this niche!
since this competitor puts so much efforts in this and I know for sure that he is getting loads of traffic out of it!

is this a good sign that the niche is profitable?

Don't look at their effort, look at their link profile.

If you can beat it, go for it.

Just think about the niche - do people spend money on products in that niche? If so then their's profit to be had. Competitor analysis is different to monetiation

there's some competitor out there who dominant this niche!
it's the same site but ranked for different kwds in the same niche, or this competitor that you are talking about has more sites in that niche?

I would actually look for a new niche, especially if it's low competitive. Why get into a battle over bread crumbs?

I've had BADD experiences with hidden PBN's, make sure to do a THOROUGH SEARCH.

Based on the scenario you described, it doesn't appear like there's a tremendous amount of competition there.

It seems like a classic case of a low-competition niche.

Just because a person dominates that niche, doesn't really say anything.

If there is such a shortage of competition, that niche would be very easy to dominate.

Just because somebody put in the time, effort and energy to dominate an otherwise uncompetitive and low-value niche, doesn't necessarily mean that you had to jump right in and follow suit.

There are lots of niches out there that have low commercial value and are easy to dominate.

It may not be worth your time to go after these niches because, let's face it, at the end of the day, $200 is worth more than $5.

I hope you see where I'm coming from.

Always focus on return on investment and keep in mind that it takes time, effort and resources to dominate a particular keyword on Google over an extended period of time.

Any niche can be profitable, but like they have alluded to above, you have to think about what the value of your own time is?

is it worth trying to beat someone who is already well placed in a low comp niche, or chase a medium niche with same comp?

If there's others trying to rank for it as well, there's some use in you doing the same. (My personal opinion.)

you should put more high quality backlinks. I think your rank will be improved soon.
