Hi

I read all over the internet that you can't rank with 500words articles.. But something is telling me that point in creating website that is getting traffic is to have as much as possible articles no matter what keywords count per artice in total your going after.. For example if you cacthing low competition keywords and you write atleast 500words article and you write lets daily 2 articles and you repeat that shit for 1 year i think there should be some result after that.

What u think ?

In short words i mean broad niche website, where i would be targeting very low competition keywords, but i would be working more in quantity then quality.. With quality i mean i would still write content myself or i would be paying for some cheap content that is atleast unique and readable regarding focusing keyword.

Also if you writing more and more articles, you have better chances for ranking more keywords or i'm wrong at that ?

Depends on what you write about. Blogging isn't only about pushing thousands of articles. You have bots that can do that in days, write tens of thousands of articles. The hardest part is to find those low competition keywords. And yes, for some keywords, you will even rank with 300 words. That's until competition finds you and builds a better, more detailed article.

It mostly depends on your competitor. If you are writing less than 500 words article with low competition keywords, you can gain traffic. If your competitor has low quality article. But, Writing more than 500 words hand written high quality article with high search volume with low competition keyword will surely help you to get more traffic.

That's the total opposite of being true,
the trick with the word count & keyword density is to match the average of the top ranking websites for the keyword,
with that, you'll be matching the user search intent or at least what google algo think it is

for example, writing 4k words blog post while the top Results showing 200-300 words product pages will result in having less change in ranking for such keyword & vice versa

But if you can write 500 words on a given topic, why not writing more than 1 000 words ? I mean you already know what to talk inside the article and you can surely expand on that.

What I personally discovered is that you have to match the length of the top ranking articles on each subject. So if the top 10 of a keyword is around 500 words, you can write 500 words + 50 words to make your content more throughout.

Quick question @SunnyLeon : what bot can do that ? I'm searching for a bot to add more content for my link building strategy right now. I want something reasonable which will not give a hard time when it comes to proofreading. Thanks

Have you seen news websites with short articles ranking in top results?
Yes? Then it is totally possible. Although, it's your job to figure out - How?

It depends on your niche and your competition

Some news niches feature very short pieces of content

The downside? They already require HEAVY FREQUENCY

Look at HOW EVERGREEN your niche is and the average length of the content of the top rankers.
