Is this multi-niche? And will this work?

So I am writing a blog on making money and finance. The blog is about giving ideas on how to make money and also biography of billionaires and suggestions from famous books about making money. I am planning to include a cryptocurrency category. Will this work? Or should I register a new domain and plan to write a niche-specific blog? It will take another 8 months.

Better you start with this domain too create a specific page that's enough

or make crypto articles and mingle it as normal article

So, add a new crypto article and mingle with the previous category? Is it okay?

The making money niche in general is quite saturated and will be hard to rank and get a decent amount of organic traffic to. So even though it's possible it might be easier to go more micro niche specific.

like @noviclick said, finance is a very tough niche to get into. And it also falls into the YMYL category of markets / niches, so it will be double hard to rank in that niche without deep pockets, patience and know-how.

I don't know about crypto, though so I can't speak about this particular industry. But everything that involves fiat currencies is YMYL and competitive, so I would stay away from it as a beginner

Thank you for the answer. I am willing to work for 2 years more. I only wanted to ask: should I start a new domain or is it okay to add a new category (crypto) to an already existing blog? I read on Reddit that a general niche blog cannot earn.

jack-of-all-trades sites are not in google's good graces anymore, so yeah, you'll have a hard time making it work.

And like I said, I don't know too much about crypto, I have a faint idea of what it is but I never understood how it works. I also don't know whether google treats it like YMYL and if they do, you'll need to prove your authority to google in order to rank in this market. Either this, or use black hat to abuse the hell out of google's algo, that could work too

But if google doesn't see crypto as YMYL then I think you might have a good chance of ranking, but I would keep it separate to a new site instead of mixing it with YMYL sites
