Always after a period of time my mozilla browser starts going slow, the mouse starts getting jumpy, scrolling becomes a pain in the arse.

Most if not all of the times, it's when I have too many drop downs mini windows or whatever theyr called open. But i really notice it gets this when i choose certain soccer gaming sites like sokker.org or hattrick.org.

Is there anyway to protect mozilla from the scripts or whatever from sites like sokker.org that are doing damange to it?

It's just eating up memory and will continue to until you close it down and reopen it. I think it's some sort of conspiracy or something.

Yup. Happens to me all the time. Firefox is a memory hog. I'm thinking about giving Chrome a shot.

i changed to chrome months ago after my dissapoinment in ff4 beta. each tab is rendered as a window in taskbar. i often open around 30 tabs per ff window. with ff4 it becomes 30 windows in taskbar which makes it hard to navigate. besides, it is slow like hell with some plugins.

but chrome has grave security issues, i cant remember what they were exactly
ah,yes, itll keep your data or something so even if you cclean it and ur uploading vids to youtube, with Chrome you're screwed

i cant remember when this mozilla problem started for me, but i coulda sworn there was a time this wasnt happening, like 2 or 3 years ago switching from explorer in awe at the amount of windows i could leave open...

its gotta be certain plugins, thats it... ah well, no solution
