Hello, I need to know this. I run a music blog which I also added category for lyrics.

Now my question is,

Is it Good to use lyrics as article for a tier 1 backlink linking to my money site?

What if the same lyrics is on my blog will that hurt my seo?

Because each time I check the copyscrape of the lyrics its always unique, but it is also find in my competitors site also.

I want to know if it is good to use it as a tie one back link also since it is a lyrics.

No you cant use ... lyrics as content
You can use .. news .. about singers as content
Check genius.com site.
 
You should avoid using exactly the same lyrics. For example, you can write a paragraph about the album, song or artists and then write a few lines of the lyrics. Because if it creates any problem in the future, you won't be able to change all the backlinks manually.
 
Don't use your website's content anywhere else

Don't do that brah.. just write about news .. just be safe ..

sorry for asking. I am just a newbies in SEO, but what I can I copy the entire news from another site without any edit on it?

No Don't do that .. for tier 1 Links

You can do that for tier 2 links...
