Is this legit?

I recently got a domain and since then I have been getting upwards of 400 unique visitors a week just from sitting on my butt. I have parked it for some bits of change. Someone contacted me about it and offered me ten thousand dollars for the domain given that it was assessed by a third party.

I told him I had it listed on Sedo and that if he wanted an assessment I could get one there. Should I trust it?

No it's probably a scam. They will refer you to their own "3rd party" where you will have to pay like $100 to have someone assess it and then you won't hear shit back from them.

Someone tried to get me with this a while back as well. I did some research and found out it was all BS. Tell them if they are interested and need an assessment to pay for it themselves. The seller should never pay for the appraisal.

Don't do it, sounds shady. 10k for 400+ doesn't seem normal. Uh unless you've got a baller domain.

I got contacted by one of these people too a few months back. At first I was excited, and then I checked it out, and it was not legit. I mentioned it to the person who was trying to "buy" and he disappeared.

Is this legit?
