It has about 12,000 global monthly searches according to Adwords keyword tool and it's approximate CPC is $15.23.

Not sure how long it will stay at 12,000 global searches. Is there a way to check this?

Check similar keywords on keyword tool, monthly searchs follow the same cycle for different products on same niche.
