I live in UK. I've been looking for new business ideas. I've thought of an idea that involves buying and selling of exotic pets like american mountain lions, indian leopards and african wild dogs.

If you sell cubs to responsible owners after doing background checks do you think this will be a sustainable idea?

If you question urself regarding something being ilegal or not, usually its the former.

Couldn't find anything in UK concerning legality of raising big cats and wild dogs. How is it as an idea.

Who will first knock your door if its illegal Police? ask your local police or relatives in this department if you can't find legality.

Even if it’s legal(which it probably isn’t). You going to need to jump through a fuckload of hoops to import any of those animals.

I would strongly recommend that you look for another type of business to try.
One small error - and there are many CITES protected species which will get you into really hot soup - or rather cold cell with a big buddy to cuddle...

I really don't know the answer. But i will say it's illegal, or at least you will need a lot of documents and laws to comply. We are talking about exotic and dangerous animals... See if you can find any place where they sell those animals. That can help you to know if it's a good idea.

Why not start a drop shipping site and be "middle man" for mountain lions, Indian leopards and African wild dogs?

Joke, I will run away from this idea.

From all online business idea you got to this one?

You can do it better, I believe in you!

All the best.

Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976

As someone whos filled in more CITIES paperwork than any sane man should you're not on to a winner.

I'd assume since you're in the UK that harboring wild animals is most definitely illegal in some way, shape, or form. They're restrictive on many things that we aren't here in the states so I gotta figure having a tiger or leopard is quite frowned upon these days. But I didn't google, so....
