So-- if I put up a Wordpress site with a dozen unique articles and put some banners/ezine sub form/links to money site in the right hand column-- and then blast with backlinks:

My question is: When the site eventually burns, do I just clone and upload the same entire site to a new domain and start the process over? Or do I have to create entirely new content, new site design, new theme, change up links/banners in right hand column, etc... ?

You would want to completely delete your content from your website and make sure the search engine robots revisits your bummed site and re-caches it.

When it's recached with no content, you should be safe to reuse your content on another site.

I have an account which takes 25 websites, I tend to burn ten at a time. All 25 are wrote out, when they burn they go to the bottom of my list. So basically I reuse them roughly every 4 - 6 month after they have been burnt.
 
Thanks for your reply. On average, how many pages of content do you have on each site?
 
This churn and burn method sounds interesting. When a website is burnt out, does that mean Google has penalised the domain, or do churn and burn websites rely on alternative traffic?

There are two types of penalties: algorithmic and manual.

Algorithm penalties typically cause you to lose some rank in Google's SERPs. You can tell there has been an algorithmic penalty when your traffic has just dropped (but not disappeared) for your keywords.

A manual penalty is when someone from Google has manually reviewed your website and penalised you for spamming, keyword stuffing (which is just spam), or another violation of Google's TOS. It can be viewed via Google Webmaster Tools in the section "manual actions".
 
Wonder how many people are working to do manual penalty at google !

Of course you can reuse the same content with the same theme on a new domain. What was penalised is the domain name, not your content, so there's nothing wrong with reusing the same articles and design.
 
I think its best if the old site is completely de-indexed first? Otherwise you get duplicate content?

Depends where the content is from as well, and how easy it is to reproduce (IE if you are using something like wordAI, then just make some new content).
 
I don't think there's anything wrong with using the same content on a new domain
 
With churn and burn, I do use same content+theme+media again and again for 3-4 times at least without no problem.
