I need help finding an app or website that will allow me to make basic cover art for an instagram account, any suggestions ?

so far just the basics, but from what I understand now it'll just be worth it in the long run to pay for a good program now

If by a cover you mean an Instagram post, then you can use canva(dot)com, its a simple tool and it will do the trick
