It's real and against terms and conditions and most likely illegal. However, no script is needed. It is very simple to accomplish.

Yeap it's real, I even have it, but it's simply not worth it. Imagine if it got shared here. All themes and plugins shared here would make our websites vulnerable.

it is real and its illegal.
some jerk have hit the server which i have some blog and all my blog's traffic got redirected to some ppc page.

easy to remove, but annoying to know that for 2 days you had no visitors.

Yeah i've been getting those spam emails this week as well...pain in the ass and highly illegal. Yeah it might work but is it worth it for the jailtime you might get for computer crimes....I sincerely doubt it.
