Currently selling on amazon. Just recieved this message from a 'buyer':

"Monster", the Monster logo, the product and packaging are trademarks or registered trademarks of Monster Cable® Products, Inc. or its subsidiaries in the United States or other countries. "Dr. Dre", "Beats" and the B logo are trademarks of Beats Electronics, LLC. Privacy Policy ©2011 Monster, LLC.

You are selling counterfeit product and Breaking the copyright laws!!!!!! It Cost Us A Lot Of Money to stop sellers like you stealing are hard work.
If you dont stop selling counterfeit product you will face criminal charges and the sale and trade of counterfeit designer goods is a crime.
We will be getting your address secretinternetpolice if you dont Stop this Know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you think this is actually Monster? If it was i think Amazon wpuld have removed my listing and the message would be more professional. Considering they spelt 'now' wrong, im thinking its competition trying to shut me down!

    i think it's bullshit.

it's more than likely someone competing against you and selling the same stuff, trying to scare you off.

it would be a lot more professional if it was actually coming from the company.

    that's what i'm thinking.

With all the !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ? That was actually in the message?

From the spelling mistakes you received in that message, it can't be the officials.

Don't trust them imho unless you actually receive a real complaint.

"sellers like you stealing are hard work."
    suppose to be
"sellers like you stealing our hard work"

"Stop this Know " >> "Stop this now"

    "secretinternetpolice">> "Secret Internet Police"

    Unprofessional writing, don't trust him/her.

If it was real, they would complain this issue to Amazon, and Amazon would remove it, instead of them contacting you directly.

    Probably a competitor.

U should contact amazon directly and ask them if you are breaking any laws etc with your listings, if you are they WILL tell you. Don't remove anything until amazon tells you too directly. There is no point in loosing money of you don't have too.

Hi, like everyone said, with all those spelling mistakes it's definitely a competitor trying to scare you off, play along or just simply ignore him.

This is never from Monster, it's just a competitor .... also I think Monster never would send just an email, you would receive a written C&D letter ....

By the way, I am still waiting for your reply referring to the Christian Dior perfume ...

This is good news for you, the competition are obviously frightened so I would just ignore them and keep doing what you are doing.

Exactly, once there is more than one exclamation mark used in a row I would say it's competition. No professional company would ever use that kind of grammar.
