Is this even possible? High PR and 3 year old domain

So i found this domain that I am about to register, it has a PR 8. It's a .info and it's only 3 years old. Selling for $200, is this even possible? (The name of the domain is completely garbage though).

I used market samurai to confirm and its really a pr 8.

Btw, I found another site that is a PR9 with 2 years old only..... you know what, look at the picture attachment from market samuari and you guys tell me...

Actually there is some trick involved in getting those PR8 or 9. Mostly they are fake domains only.

To give you an idea, Harvard.edu is a PR8, CNN.com is a PR9...I doubt those domains you found are legit.

Is it possible? Yeah, all you need is a handful of PR8-9 backlinks and you'll be PR8 in no time...

Obviously, your gut is telling you that's not what's going on here though. Why don't you analyze the backlinks to that domain and see. (not because I think you're going to confirm that it is a legit PR8, but because it might be good practice for you to figure out what's going on)

That would be good, how would I analyize the backlinks? Is there a software I can look into?

I used several pr checker sites and it still says pr9...thats why im a bit confused.

Yeah, no one would sell a PR-8 site for that price, so there's the giveaway, if it seems to good to be true, it is.
