So I have an under performing page I'm gonna get rid of, rather than wasting the content I think I will add it to the bottom of another page on the same website.

My question is, is that gonna give any issues with duplicate content?

Yes it will be duplicate content but it would be internal duplicate content and you can check your internal duplicate content on copyscsape. When your dplicay is less then 30% then it is ok for you but more then 30% is a problem for your website.

If you are going to copy the content and add it to a relevant page, then delete the original page and set 301 redirect to the page where you have added this content.

Is the page indexed? If it is indexed then its waste of putting it on another page.Rather leave it as it is, if it is getting traffic.

I agree, it will be a duplicate content. However, you can copy the original one, put it on your desired page, and delete the old one. Set that deleted page to redirect to the new one and you are all set. I hope this works well for you. Good luck.
