I want to buy 2 domains that are $120 each. THEY ARE BOTH EMDs
Are these domains worth buying for this price? I want to make a site and start ranking them
1st domain has exact search of 135,000 global with CPC of $3.33 and LOW competition
2nd domain has exact search of 165,000 global with CPC of $0.59 and LOW competition

Oh, whoops was looking at the google keywords tool

Ranking difficulty for domain 1 is 229 by looking at spyfu.com
Ranking difficulty for domain 2 is 181 by looking at spyfu.com

Should i go with just buying domain 2?

There's not nearly enough information here. All depends on the keywords. If the keyword in question is something like "wheretobuywidgets.com" then it's not as good as "buywidgets.com" since the second one is a 'call to action.' Also, with searches in that range, just buying this domain isn't going to put your site on the first page. I'd rather have a non-EMD and good SEO than an EMD with bad or no SEO.
 
The low competition on Google Keywords Tool refers to the competition on the Adwords side. So low isn't positive in this case, high competition is better because it will result in higher cpc due to companies bidding higher to get more impressions/views.

Search your niche keyword then check out the websites in the first page. Research their authority and back links then you can decide on if it is possible to rank high.

I am thinking of purchasing the 2nd domain related to the alphabet and doing SEO with it.
 
My first domain's competition is very tough, the top 10 has PR4 and above, with alot of backlinks to each
Searched my 2nd domain, the top 9 have a PR of more than 3, while the 10th position has PR0 and around 80000 backlinks to their domain

Should i buy and make a website for domain 2?
