I did keyword research today and found a keyword has about ~12000 local searchs, and 18000 Global searchs, CPC low $0.3. USA
The EDM available too.

Is it good keyword/ domain. Should I buy it ?
What should I do more to make sure this is great keyword ? I found many good keywords.

exact local and global search, I choose country is USA and language is English.

An exact match domain available with those figures is worth a $10 punt

Just do some homework on google and determine how commercial the keyword is. Is it a keyword that people search when they are looking to buy or seeking information about n available product.

Without this research you could build a good site that gets traffic but only window shoppers

no, the keyword is nature, no brand name in it

I saw the CPC is low ~$0.5, this keyword is about USA information and I don't know about that kind of info. I think I can't write about this topic.

As you posted the Advertiser Competition according to the Google Adwords Keyword tool is "low", which in combination of the .3 CPC is most likely a not profitable Keyword, as there is almost no commercial intent behind it, check the cpc and the number of advertisers via Spyfu.

and there is .com available, either this is a goldnugget or non-profitable, but a low Advertiser Comp. indicates a non-profitable Keyword in my Opinion.
 
but it's still good for Adsense, right ?
 
Especially for AdSense a low Advertiser Comp. results in a terribly low Ctr and CPC.
 
If you are planning to earn through adsense then it is not profitable, however if you are looking at selling something and promoting through advertising, then it has potential, but it all depends on what kind of niche it falls under.
 
As long as its not a brand, it sounds fine.

I would say that you should go for it. I can see that you have choosen USA and Exact searches. Cpc is a bit low but if you monetize with other affiliate or CPA networks then it wont be much of an issue. Also a .com will surely help you gain a rank much faster. A tip for you, if you monetize it with your own products then you will make a much bigger profit.
