Is this domain good or bad for using in a PBN?

Purchased this 7 year old domain today and was wondering if it truly has a very strong back link profile or it's just an illusion. The domain was formerly used by a legit looking Chinese business selling legit industrial products. According to the Majestic SEO info from checkpagerank.net it has over 1 million back links, over 40k referring domains, 525 EDU links and over 22k GOV links. Screen shot is that results page.

We would need to see more info than just the image you provided to know for sure if its a good domain or not.

Like what kind of info? Have always seen general advice is to avoid Chinese websites/domains because they're most likely to be spammy. EDU and GOV links are not spammy so that's main reason for making the purchasing decision.
 
The data provided is meaningless... one would need to examine a sample of the links, and also to check the archive.org history of the domain.
I'm pretty confident in saying it's been abused.

Sure did. That's how I saw that it was a business's domain. But that's not enough really. I'm thinking, with over 1 million back links, there's gotta be a little spam in there somewhere.

Like I said before, archive.org shows it's been used as a legit looking business. Open site explorer is showing only 20 links unlike the huge Majestic number.
 
I found a lot of chines domain but they scare me As I can't read single word from it .
but I don't know what the effect on google if I change domain language .
specifically the links have chines letters on it .
in your case you can test domain authority by writhing new article targeting none competitive or unique keyword and see how google index it without building any new links .

I was thinking the same thing, test it and see what happens. I'm going to link it to a site that I don't care what happens to it and see whether the serps go up or down.

Here's a screenshot showing ahrefs results, only 5 no follow and over 943k do follow links looks unnatural as hell.

The best advice would be to give it a try and see what happens. You got it cheap and it has links from good domains, so might as well help.
 
You're on drugs

1 million external urls, the liklihood of this not being spammed considering you probably payed little for it is low.

Either way dig through some of the links, check instances of archive to look for different owners.
 
Have you actually seen all the meaningless subdomains showing for that domain? It's been spammed all day long - not a legit domain whatsoever. This is where all the links are going to:

No way in hell your going to get a legit 900k+ link domain for less than $20.

Might be useful for something else tho.
