I recently got another idea prior to another, and I was wondering is it legal to find a PDF of a guide somewhere on the internet, and then upload it to sharecash and get people to download?

Are you talking about a free PDF or a PDF guide that is for sale? It all depends on the individual rights/permissions granted by the creator of the PDF. But I don't think Sharecash will care too much, they host lots of copyright material and shady downloads.

probably better to take that .pdf and spin the method and sell it on dp/wf if you can write good sales copy. Or if you can get traffic then use sharecash or something similar

Where would I find the rights to the PDF? Technically i'm just sharing the PDF.

Technically Sharecash is sharing the PDF. Not you.

Where did the PDF originate from? That is where you should look for the rights to it.

Treat the PDF as you would with any music/movie/book you can find. Would you think its OK to share those?

Well as with most content on the internet people share it regardless so.. i'd assume it'd be okay to share a PDF, as long as I didn't change the contents and said this belongs to whoever wrote it.

Why did you even bother to ask what is legal? You clearly don't give half a shit if its legal.

If you want to share, then share it. But it is not legal to share someone elses PDF if they sell that product and only grant rights for personal use when it is sold. You are putting Sharecash at risk of Legal issues by uploading that file to their website.

If you want to share the PDF on sharecash then do the basic method...

Upload "Password" file to sharecash, lock the PDF file, then put a read me in a ZIP and include the locked PDF as well.

All you are uploading to sharecash is a text file with a password inside it,

Then when you want someone to download the PDF, you just pass them the link to the ZIPPED file with the locked PDF, they will read your unlocked text file which contains a link to your sharecash password text file.

Job done !

Just upload empty PDF with the same name and pretend that this is the guide. They will make you money by downloading and who cares that they will not get the guide? I don't think that someone will start complaining on forums and etc. that he has been enough stupid to be cheated in DL the "guide".
