Is this Creepy?

Got something called Ubiquiti access points fitted at our house - which are internet access points that extend your network and give you a wi-fi boosts essentially. Guy that fitted them said that unlike our router, we cannot change the password our selves ie there's no actual control panel for us - they have to change it on their end.

Is this a bit weird? Like can they potentially see all my traffic etc?
