Hi,

well I have been listing through amazon products and I googled some product, let's say HDTV 7192X and I found that there is absolutely no any result. Zero results.

I went to the company's homepage and I found that they are just starting up (as favicon icon is still the Joomla's one)

Now I want to know would it be okay to review the product.. because that might mean I have been "faster" than the company and amazon combined :)

P.S. Don't ask how I'd review a product that no one knows anything about lol

Here: Yes that is considered 'fair use' you can use the material for purposes such as criticism, news reporting, teaching, and research, without the need for permission from or payment to the copyright holder.

Reviews fall under Fair Use, it's of bigger interest to society that people are able to freely talk about products.

Unless you're totally messing this up stealing photos and stuff, you should be ok.

I must ask! How is that possible? Care to elaborate?

Haha nothing special.. I just write about its features listed on Amazon, add some content from the manufacturer's homepages (like where the company is located, when it has been founded), and then I mention how other products by the same manufacturer are highly popular amongst folks in the industry (and maybe add link to another products by the manufacturer.. ).. basically just write about something related to the product/manufacturer/general topic and you are good to go.

Which is just enough for 200-300 words :)

And thanks to others for mentioning the "fair use" term.. it's nice to know.. and no I'm not doing anything crappy or silly, just basic reviews :)

No one knows anything then why are you trying to tell us mate. Keep that fucking secrete.

Reviews are your opinions.. Copyright is an ownership.. that product is launched in market so anyone can criticize it.
