Hello I was wondering to affliliates that do not allow email advertising if i got a full page ad on my website but send people from emails to my site then they click on that ad and go to there site is that a violation of spamming or email terms? I am still trying to learn all i can about spaming policys and ways to stay clear from being banned or suspended from an afiliate. Also if i mask a link will that be ok also? please if anyone knows about this please post here and let me know thank you so much

I think it would depend on what your email says, and how you obtain the addresses. If it's your own opt-in list and you just promote your site, you should be fine. If you say "go here and click this ad", you may have trouble.

well the site i got i would have a page with a full page banner on it and when they click the link they will go to that page i was thinking this would not be considered spamming since it is to the page and they click it i would not say click it i will let them do that on there own lol i think people will do it if they want to meet the girl bad enough lol i will just have them go to my site only and not mention the affiliate or tell them to go to it or click on it i figured i would just let them do that and if they try and go to the front page of the site it would be just a affiliate page with all my affiliate banners and such lol

Definition of spam is unsolicited Messages. So if you Got the emails from opt-in your golden and can email all you want. Its like cl, I get called a spammer all the time for some post i put there. But legally I posted a ad They contacted me so it waives the unsolicited section now. If this makes sense. So like what was said above its all how you get the emails

Say is someone scrapes the names off cl and emails but you point it to your site and when they go to your site they chose to click on a add is that spam in the eyes of an affiliate due to traffic would be coming from your website and not from emails or cl?
