Is This Considered Email Spamming?

Instead of posting a short link all over the web to fill out a PPD survey for an item they want,
I post a gmail address instead and tell people to email me for the link, then setup gmail to auto respond with the direct PPD link..
would there be any kinda CAN SPAM discrepancies involved with this method at all, since they email me 1st and gmail auto responds back to them..??
could my gmail account be terminated at all using this type of method..?

i wuldnt suggest u do that coz u could get like 1000 replies and i think gmail limit the amount u can send per day to like 500/day...maybe if u get ur own hosting and custom email adress it would work...nice thinking by the way coz u could use those emails as ur list to send more offers

At first glance I would say that is illegal unless you comply with the CAN-SPAM act.

For you to be compliant you need an opt-out, a physical address and tell them they are dealing with a company so they are aware it is an advertisement.

Also: "Each separate email in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act is subject to penalties of up to $16,000, so non-compliance can be costly".
