Is this considered as spam?

Google is cracking down on spam links, but not nofollow'd links like you mentioned.

However my question is this, is it REALLY worth having that link? Are you generating traffic and sales from it?

As forum links are pretty low value I'd only keep it if it brought me traffic, and as it's niche relevant it sounds like it may.

In my opinion this is not spam. If you would do that on several other, it may be.

I don't think it will act as spam links, by the way this is my personal opinion and you could check it with other webmaster's also.

I don't consider it spam, and I don't think you should worry about it, however if you're getting paranoid just remove it, I don't think you have many benefits from it anyway.

yeah as people said before, it shouldn't be spam or giving any impact.

"but" we know matt cutts is like lunatic or maniac similar.

i would suggets if that site not high pr (low quality), didnt give ANY traffic etc better you remove.

Hi there,
I have an account on a game cheats forum and like 6000 posts on there (Was pretty active). Since I'm slowly building backlinks to my money site (that is related to gaming cheats), I decided to put into my profile the Root domain as my homepage. I checked today the backlink profile and noticed that I suddenly have 150 backlinks from that forum (because of the posts I guess). Is this seen by Google as spam? I actually thought that it's gonna be counted as one backlink only...

PS: They're no follow
Thanks!

Nah, lots of sites have a profile like this Google won't care at all it's a legitimate way to get some traffic.

I don't think it will cause an issue at all. It's a natural link, it's related, it's no follow and it's naked URL as well from what you said. Fine.
just get active on some other gaming forums and do similar.
its all nice and natural and your in your element by the sounds of it.
