Hello BHW,

I have question buzzing around my head many time but never asked before and I want to have what others say about it.
So, I have a website which is ranking in google for 1st page and want to move to top therefore planning to write a good content.

My question is if I write a content and added it to website blog section and it is indexed in google. And if I wan to do article submission for same content on article directories. This will consider as a duplicate content. having same content on websites blog section and same content submitting to article directories?

Is it duplicate content?

Please, share your thoughts...

No thoughts... It's not dupe content, its syndicated content. It will probably be indexed. Your site will be considered the original source. Doesn't count as much as original content, but a link is a link. It's a good way to re-purpose your existing material. Articles might bring you some targeted traffic, and might get republished on other blogs... your site will always have credit.

If you're referring to so called dupe content penalty.... that's not what this is. Dupe content penalty is using that same article in various guises all over your site to make search engines believe you have loads of content, when it's all just the same.
