Is this Bad ???

Hi All,
I have a website that has been online for 8 years (call it mystore domain) which ranks well for my keywords of "my" and "store". The issues is that my company is named ABC Corporation, so, when people hear ABC Corporation, they type in the abc "domain"..but of course, that was not my site (I had to make sure they new the mystore domain). After a few years of this, I bid on and purchased the abc domain, and it web forwards traffic to the mystore domain, so domain name = company name - finally !

The question is...can I promote and submit the abc domain site to the search engines? Will that be flagged as "bad"?

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure that if you're using a 301 redirect there should be no problem.

is there any reason you cant file for a DBA, Doing Business As where you are incorporated?

That way even though legally you are still ABC Corp but can promote yourself as "mystore" amke biz cards as mystore ect

Yeah sounds like youre good to me too but then again I have never had first hand experience with what your talking about. My gut says you're OK but probs best to keep checking on a few more forums just to get more opinions and views.
