Is this bad for my site?

My blog currently has 15 100% unique articles and an images section where approximately 10 images are uploaded each day.
These photos are then submitted to stumbleupon and tumblr automatically.
Now my problem is, because it's pictures, it's giving me a really high bounce rate at around 80%.
Currently all my traffic is coming from those 2 sources.

There are no search engine traffic yet as I started mildly do some SEO just last week.

So my question is, will the high bounce rate have a negative effect on my site even if it's just pictures but still have unique content?

Bounce rate is a issue to prevent that you need to have right information for visitors who is going to land on your website. Make an attractive website with images, videos and other things. And if you are considering to get visitors for your website, do forum posting to your niche.

Anyway, OP, I wouldn't worry about it. Your traffic from stumbleupon and tumblr is not affecting your search engine optimization negatively in any way.

I've always had a pretty horrific bounce rate with Google analytic s for most of my blackhat sites, it does not seem to be a detriment to the rankings. Now if you're considering pumping and dumping the site on sedo or what have you, you may want to take that into consideration if you're wanting to include stat shots, etc.

If you don't use google analytics they won't know your bounce rate so I don't think it affects SERP
