Is This Backlink Attack?

Hi,

I launched a new site about 25 days ago.
I didn't make any backlinks yet except for creating social profiles and made only one answer post at Quora. Though these social links are still not found.

But when I added my site at ahrefs 2-3 days ago, I see so many backlinks been created out of the blue. Daily new backlinks are found and some are gets lost.

Some referring domains are,
keyword-rank.com
linkddl.com
couponsale.in
s.gmx.co.uk
keyfora.com
keywordresearchinc.com
topmillionwebsites.pw
anonymousite.com
linkmio.com
websiteperu.com
5dollarsite.com
au-e.com
autoseobacklinks.com
freekeyworddifficultytool.com
keyosa.com
linkspropeller.com
etc. etc.

about 50 referring domains and more than 180 backlinks are there.

Is it something to worry about?

probably that you've purchased an expired domain and ahrefs detected its previous backlinking history. If you add it to Google Search Console GSC will probably pick some / all these backlinks, too.

This always happens with domains that have expired and then, few years later, someone else puts a website on them and indexes them in google.

Also, judging by the links you've posted your domain either is in the SEO (more or less) niche, or it's heavily spammed and thus will hurt your rankings. At least that's what it looks like at a first glance. If the latter is true you now know why it's important to check the backlinking profile of expired domains before you purchase them :)

It's not an expired domain I bought...
It is a fresh domain which I have registered @namecheap on 4th December 2020.

@tazarbm GSC hasn't found any links yet - so that section is totally empty. I added my site to GSC 24 days ago.

@MrDenz There is no record at Archive.org either, as I said it's a new domain.

At this point, registering a brand new, 100% virgin, never-used-before domain is very hard, at least domains in English. So there’s a high chance you’re not the first owner of that domain.

I'm not sure what to say except as I said there is no record at Archive.org
Also, it's unlikely to happen what you said because the domain contains 3 words and you can also see the whois records above.
 
hi mate ive had some of them links appear for a lot of my sites in the past, i wouldnt worry about it i think they are just sites that scrape lots of other sites and post your url on their site
