Is this a good way of getting started?

I am planning on choosing a good product to promote on clickbank, and I was just after some advice on how to promote it?

I was thinking of making a Pre-Selling page, such as a page which explains the product and the benefits etc, then with a link to my affiliate link to the sales page.
The idea of getting traffic to my pre-selling page would be buying Real, Targeted traffic. Would this be feasible?

I was also thinking of attracting traffic to the pre-selling page by using Social networking, such as YouTube videos.

Can anyone give me some advice, or whether this is a good strategy?

If the traffic really is targeted then yes, this could be a great idea. You should look into PPC ads to get some targeted traffic. Dont however go and buy cheap traffic, such as 1000 views. Most of these are bots and just trust me, they will not buy anything.

Any sites that offer PPC? Any ones that you know are reliable?

Sorry for the double post, but I was wondering about the best method of getting websites. Do you reckon using many subdomains for a niche would be good? Instead of spending a lot of money for many domains, how about targeting one niche domain, with many subdomains in the niche. For example:

quitsmoking.gethealthier.com
getasixpackin30days.gethealthier.com

gethealthier.com is just an example. And could be used for the health niche, is this a better method?

Yea, that would work fine as long as you are not trying to rank the individual subdomains.

I wouldn't bother with SEO to rank on google, seeing as updates can just wreck your sites positioning, the sites won't have any good enough content as well. Seeing as I am just going to have a landing page, which links to my clickbank affiliate hoplink.

Hopefully this should work! If I am successful, a journey guide may come!

Targeting real traffic would be a solid idea, I haven't had much luck with CB but I hope you do!
