Hello, I have a website and I'm going to put some keywords at the bottom of the page, the keywords will be in bold type and black color as the background of the page because I want them to look invisible to the eyes of the visitors.

do you think this is a good idea? Will this looks spammy to search engines?

Nope, embedding keywords will sink your site in no time flat. Do NOT do that.

You're just asking for problems with very little return. Hidden text is not a good way to improve rankings. If you want to hide text than use JS with hidden divs that you can open up. Like a jquery toggle or something. That's a legit way to hide the text but is still available for users to see if they want to.

Why don't you just add relevant content with the keywords in it?

I'm pretty sure google will downgrade you even lower than you are now in terms of rankings. So don't do that.

There are plenty of pdfs here and on other forums available for on page and off page seo. Its simpler than you think. Just take at least a month to read and learn the ropes - you'll be ranking pages in no time.

Best of luck!

I thought it was a good idea. I have to read more about seo:D
Thanks for your replies.

Never try to hide keywords. Google can see you are doing this and it will destroy you. Besides, simply putting those keywords on the page wont do anything. Backlinks and anchor text are what really counts.

Definitely dont do it, just incorporate them contextually, shouldn't be too hard

Hidden text will be discovered and you will receive a penalty with google. Will make your life really hard to rank your site.

I want to suggest you that you should not hide your keywords. According to my experience it's not a good idea.

I don't think so that it is a good idea because Google does not like hidden content or hidden information.

I would not recommend doing that. Google can detect hidden text. If you look at pages Googlebot craws you can see it does grab your css to check specificly for that.

the most brilliant seo idea!

kidding aside, its risky.

besides, you cannot spam your page with your keywords as google will surely kick your ass.

Dude that will get your site deindexed in a blink of eye!

This is called "keyword stuffing" and has been spotted and eliminated by Google since a few years ago.
