I mean youre right, why she has to lie? So assuming shes saying the truth, then it means she thinks shes too imperfect for the husband? and why she feels that? because i guess she does bad things to her husband and he doesnt mind and continues to be perfect, but then what things does she do that she thinks shes unworthy of him? could be anything. But to be honest the husband doesnt need to know the right answer, his answer is that woman doesnt want to be with him and why try to continue with someone who doesnt want you? Better to let go than try to keep someone who doesnt want to be kept and doesnt care about you anymore. The husband still can find someone who values him or better stay alone than with someone who wants to be away from you. Never beg for love.

Maybe she strongly believe that what she says will not be understood and accepted by anyone, or might defame her partner and old relationship that she don't want. So she made no accusations.

I read the same article. What she says doesn't make any sense to me. Now she has a new husband. Is he less perfect than her ex husband? They've known each other since childhood so falling out of love would make more sense.

Any reason is a good reason to get a divorce.

If x-thing does not make you happy in a relationship, then why continue to torture yourself and live in a lie?

And, why would anyone force another person to love/like them back, after they've made it clear to them that they no longer do?

We only live once.

Don't sacrifice your long term happiness for others.


Also... Unhappy and broken marriages produce some of the most miserable children.

It was 10 years ago, why would it re-surface as "news" now. Also great from the perspective of the new husband "my ex-husband was perfect".
