Selling legit brand new smartphones like samsung, iphone, lg etc on ebay?
I am currently in Hong Kong now, and phones here are cheapest in the world because of low tax. I can source phones here cheaper than the cheapest ones in ebay and still makes a profit
So is it a good idea to do this?

If you make your own website and market it, I'd say yes it's a good idea.

If you use eBay, not so much. It'll work but chances are you'll need multiple stealth accounts as smartphones are considered high risk by eBay especially since you're probably shipping from Hong Kong directly. eBay will assume any listing you put up is selling a fake phone (and honestly, as a buyer I would think the same if the price is too good... which is the catch 22. Price good and everyone thinks you got a fake, price fairly and everyone buys from someone else.)

Thanks I am thinking the same for setting my own website (which I have experience) I want to sell to UK specifically. Since we use the same charger and pound is strong now. Even with the 20% VAT I can still make a nice profit. Thanks for your suggestion.

If you are going to sell phones on eBay be very careful.

You want to be sure to sell each phone far apart on aged high feedback accounts.

Believe it or not, novelty items are the way to go as a dropshipper or vendor on ebay, because people won't rationalize that much and they just buy stupid weird-ass things, like I bought a Teemo hat for 20$ LOL

I was selling phones on eBay for a while and it was a HUGE headache. Def learned a TON but not worth the profit for me.

Any name brand item on ebay is going to kill you unless you can show them valid receipts of purchase. Samsung and other companies don't want you making a dime unauthorized off of their brand.
