Hey,

Quick question, i found a word on google adword with 20 000 000 queries a month in my country with very very low competition (SEO speaking) (not even a tiny piece of green color in the bar )

I check competitors who appears at first as jokers ? They got fame but not good SEO

Does it mean i have found a gold mine ?

Am i forgeting something ?

Is a one word query is not as good as long tail queries ?

Just try it out.
One word query is the best of all, since relative long-tails include the one word keyword.

Hello abysse,

The competition bar in Google Adwords displays the amount of advertisers bidding on that keyword. Not the competition for ranking on that keyword. Have you checked PR/Backlinks/Title/H1 and other SEO factors for the top 10 sites? Are any of them an EMD?

20 Million searches a month sounds like a lot. Is that EXACT search or BROAD? Make sure you check Exact in the left hand side of Google Adwords.

Oh damn it

The rank 1 competitor is PR 6 with 31000 backlinks, 13 000 link in G index, no H1 tag, 7 titles in the index page (with alt attribut, and the keyword isn't everywhere) and the template is made with a table (-_-) with a 55 page speed result ...

Can I dominate that ?
 
how do you find out how many searches are there for a keyword?
 
check if its exact match or broad match and also check how many ads are there for the keyword .
there are many keywords which have very competion but cant make u a single $ coz ther are not buying or converting keyword


but still if u manage to get lot of visitors from the keyword then it can be used with banner advertising or something which pays per impression

You might want to start out with something a little bit easier. Just a friendly advice :)
 
Dont start getting all excited until you check the EXACT MATCH !
 
Even you could's beat the number one, with this amount of seagesr, with stay in one of the first 10 spots will be a goldmine.
But think about the keyword you will use.Google send to sandbox almost all sites that came with determinated keywords, themes like sex, blafemy,terrorsin, violence,drugs and other themes like this are specially controled, so you could get good results for some weeks but after ost your site on google index.

Thank you every one, i found out something maybe a little easier with 6m queries a month. Same main competitor though.

I'm still hesitating between selling my niche and watch other make thousands or take my shot with my low skills ;)
 
The competition shown on google adwords does not refer to SEO competition.

It refers to competition with other advertisers on Adwords.
