I recently built a parasite page with WIX. However 1 week later, even after sending sape links, the site is still not indexed.

I just read somewhere that the content on the site can't be read by search engines because it's using javascript.

Has anyone actually managed to rank a WIX site onto top 3?

Wix have a option to list the page in search engines. Did you select that option to allow search engines to crawl your page?

Try pinging your site, it will alert the search engines about your site/page, they will crawl it, and index it...

Theoretically that's how it works at least, as far as I know :)

Google can index Wix sites as evidenced by the url above. Add your site to Google Webmaster Tools (it's possible, Google it) and try to fetch your site using the fetch as Google tool. If the fetch is successful, your site will eventually get indexed.

If it fails, your site could have some issues preventing Google from indexing it, in which case you'll have to audit it.
