Is this a bad domain?

Hi there, I'm looking for a bit of advice.

I purchased what I thought was a fresh domain about 12 months ago and build an informational site with over 600 articles aiming for 0 search volume terms... the problem is that after 12 months I'm getting 10-20 visits a day.
According to serprobot I have 100 terms in the first 10 results and 300 within the first 100 results but most of the keywords are dancing in and out of the serps... sometimes I'm in the top 10 sometimes I'm nowhere to be found for weeks (pages are still indexed)...

This is a domain in the pet niche and according to Wayback machine, it was used as a pet website over 10 years ago.
However, between 2017 and 2018 it seems that it was redirected to another domain as I'm getting a "Got an HTTP 302 response at crawl time" message.

Do you think that the history of this domain may be causing this mistrust from Google? If so what would be the appropriate way forward?

At the moment I'm adding more content and building relevant backlinks (guest post and niche edits)... currently DA23 and RD9

Not getting visits after 600 articles. One thing I will say to you. Please do not continue with this project. Now it is impossible to rank such a website. Even 50-100 posts is enough to decide the fortune now.

I have been watching your posts across the forum for a while now.. I don`t want to say that you don't know what you're talking about, but I will say that we have very different views one from another. The fact that the website does manage to get first spot for anything it means that it is scalable as long as the guy works hard enough on it. Telling him to just give up a project with keywords in top 10 is very weird by me to be honest.
