Is there such thing as too many citation?

I am working on making citations for a new customer of mine and I usually create around 150 or so citations if not more some times. I have always wanted to know, is there a certain number that is just too much?

Also, when the address of the business has Suite 123 in it, should I put that into every citation? Or should I just follow the exact way the address is on all of the other citations?

150 isn't too much in total but its more than I usually advise in a single month. For my own properties I like to do 50-60 per month over the span of a few months (4 or so)... There are typically about 300-400 citations possible for a local biz in USA.

For the address format I would follow how the G places page writes it.

You can not get too many, but you can get some from bad citation sources. Stick to the quality ones.

All of your citations should match your google plus page information.

I only recommend to my clients 20 - 25 citations a month.

When filling out citations you want to match your NAP information that is listed in your website. Make sure your Google + page is also listing the same information.
It all has to match, EXACTLY the same.

Some local citations are more important than others. It makes no sense to do some oddball, nowhere citation and fail to do yp.com, superpages, etc... At some point, the issue isn't whether or not you've done "too many", the issue is whether or not you are wasting your time on the diminishing returns of useless, oddball citations when you could be spending that time doing something else, like setting up a CDN.

I'd say 70-80 per month is the magic range.

Auto approved sites that do not really verify the company, sites that are links farms, sites that look spamy and cheap when you visit them, most press release sites, anything with a low authority score, anything not in your business vertical.

Citations should be done from most important to least important. At some point you get diminishing returns and your time is better spent doing something else, something more important, something that gives you more bang for your (time) "buck".

I also think paying someone to drive craigslist traffic to your site is a good idea. Let someone else worry about the finer details of what works and what doesn't. Pay them a percentage of the revenue they deliver, and just sit back and watch money flow into the bank account. Oh, and the least important thing, that no one really needs to pay attention to, which is the work. Fuck the work. Have someone else and pay them to do that for you also. One person does the advertising, some other people do the work, you pay everyone and whatever is left over is yours.
