Is there such a thing as a "bad niche"?

I am following a shopify/dropshipping method and my niche is keychains, trinkets, plushies, anime/movie/show related products that fans will buy. Low cost/easy spending on impulse type of things.

Target market is 12~30 year olds, who like cute/trendy/random crap.

I FEEL like this is a saturated market... Am I overthinking? I get this feeling because on AliExpress these things are selling in high amounts.

Is there enough income to cover costs and make a profit? With any market the is always room, never be scared of competition. With such low value items you'd have to sell a lot though.

It's hard to find a market that is not saturated nowadays. Stop worrying about that. Rather focus on finding ways to promote your business and drive customers to your website.

Basically this. You can make really nice money with Aliexpress/dropshipping, if you do it right. You have to advertise, promote, sell your items better than everyone else.

The fact that you are reselling, means you are not the first to the market and you have competition. All you are trying to do is be the best in your niche.

Gotta have some differential. What are you doing that's better than the others? Cheaper? Local delivery?

These sort of things sell really well in physical locations, cuz kids will see it and buzz their parents until they buy.

But on the internets you gotta have some differential otherwise folks will just type in aliexpress or ebay and go direct.

Thats what I was thinking. When I think in a customers position, and think about some of the things I would buy; the first thing that comes to my head is searching for the product somehwere like amazon or google.
