Unlike White Hat Marketing, which has some aspects that basically remain the same year after year, Black Hat Marketing changes very rapidly. If someone were to teach a course in Black Hat Marketing, by the time you were done with the course, many of the methods would be outdated and/or over-saturated. You can learn the tools though - Like Scrapebox, SENuke, Xrumer, etc.
Black Hat Marketing, in its most basic form, is simply learning to use tools that automate many processes and involves clever methods to get around the TOS (Terms of Service) of Social Media properties, etc. Also, to be a good black hat marketer, you need to be creative and think of ways to put a spin, or "twist" on existing methods in hopes of giving yourself the "unfair advantage" over competitors who have (and spend) tons of money to position themselves on the playing field.
So in summary, Black Hat Marketing is not something you "learn" in the same way you would learn how to play the piano. It's just more of a creative and aggressive way of marketing that usually involves "going for the quick hit" and then moving onto the next thing - unlike white hat marketing, in which you build a subscriber or membership base and establish yourself as an authority over the longer period of time.
Anyway, that's my take on it.
