I am looking to make blog site about babies. Articles, Tips, etc. Now I came across a url at the time I thought was kinda catchy and was available - babydirt. I went ahead and bought it, but now that I did I am second guessing it. Does anyone here think there's potential in this name? Or doesn't the name even matter?

Quite frankly, you can rank ANY site for ANY keyword with enough work.

That being said, there is definately an added advantage to having a domain name related to your niche. However, the name you've chosen is quite catchy and quite possibly could help 'brand' your site. thats definately a good thing, provided you can keep your visitors engaged.

Hi,

Maybe you can plot out some keywords for your site too so that you can see your potential traffic to your site. Then afterwards think of how you are going to monetize it =)

Apparently I have been lurking in the shadows, I frequent this site as it is a good read. Also, I hate asking for help but I'm giving in as everything I try on my own comes crashing down...
