How would you go about monetizing a gargantuous network of content rich local portals? I've considered charging local businesses a fee to preme list them in our local marketplace section. The script is about 80% done and I'm trying to figure out if I should complete it and throw some money at the wall to pickup some initial domains.
I may also be looking to JV with someone experienced in getting businesses to pay for listings in the future.
